Herzlich wllkommen #Octomore 15.3 Phenolbombe 💣 307,2 ppm ☠️

Für den Phenolgehalt erstaunlich rund, wider Erwarten fällt der Bombenknalleffekt komplett aus. 🐽Rauch, Hauch frische Früchte und ganz dezent leise Schweinelachsschinken.
👅 Butter, Öl, Karamell.
Völlig anders als 10.3.

@Fischblog @Retepkce Ich lasse immer einen klitzekleinen Rest vom guten #octomore (der mit den 309ppm!) im Glas, damit die ganze Bude riecht, als ob es ganz fürchterlich gebrannt hätte 🤪🥃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I'm opening a #Christmas2023 gift I bought myself, #Octomore! Not opening this scotch was hard, but it was well worth the wait. I'll watch the first Black Doctor in their own #DoctorWho serial tonight. Merry Christmas to me! I've waited to voice my opinion of the 60th for this.

@uhandrew okay, that would be a different story, but considering London's refusal to allow #Indyref2 from happening this is more likely than ever to happen...

Also I wounder if Ham marinated in some super smokey #Islay #Whisky will taste like.
Like taking some #Octomore or #Laphroiag and sous-vide some nice piece in it...
I guess I gave @fuchsiii a new idea to try out for cooking...

A distillery exclusive, Octomore 13.4 joins the super-heavily peated 13.1, 13.2 and 13.3 to complete the collection.

#Octomore 13.4 is distilled from 100% Scottish Mainland Concerto barley and malted to a heavily peated 137.3 PPM.

Bottled at 61.6%, the spirit has matured in first fill bourbon casks, filled back in 2016, before being recasked into American Virgin oak casks.
