I got a bottle of Dramfool’s 21-year-old Port Charlotte and it’s like the nectar of the gods. Smokey and sweet, the way I love ‘em. Can’t even think of the right words to describe it.

Just got in the new Dramfool Wolfburn whisky bottlings, trying the lightly peated one first. Holy hell what a dram. Sweet, spicy, smoky, all in perfect balance, just amazing.

One of the last #whisky drams we tried was perhaps the youngest #Ardbeg ever bottled (oops, I mean “Red Bag”) — 3 years old, with that punch from just barely aging out of being new make, but also still obviously having that lovely Ardbeg citrusy smoke, with a red wine barrique finish. *God* it was amazing.

Look out for the #Dramfool 3rd “Red Bag” bottling when you get the chance. Indescribably good. The other two Red Bag bottlings are among my tops too, but this is next level.

Just did one of the best #Scotch #whisky tastings I’ve ever done in my life with #Dramfool this evening. It was a bunch of stuff from their new line(s), coming out soon in a wider retail distribution than they’ve managed in the past.

Their knack as an independent bottler for finding good barrels is just unparalleled. Can’t recommend them enough.

I ordered a couple of things from their new “middle cut” line including a 12yr Tormore, and a 15yr Caol Ila finished in Bruichladdich casks. (!!)

Just finishing up a belated #Dramfool tasting of Ardbeg releases, including the infamous NFT release, Fon Fhòid. Apparently everyone is just collecting it & not drinking it, ‘cause one of the folks on our tasting was the first person to review it on WhiskyBase…

If it weren’t a committee release & thus nearly impossible to find, I’d try to get a bottle of the Hypernova to drink during the playoffs. Not only was it delicious, but it looks like a #Canes logo. 😂
