A recent blog post from Microsoft gave us an up-to-date statistic on the number of Windows devices there are the world today, and that number is down by up to 400 million over the last number it gave.
Heh! Given the mainframe wars shenanighans, I assume that the implication is that the "fair and square" on Google's part is to be considered equally suspect.
@paco made a very good point that made me wonder what a "legitimate abuse" could be; and whether secret code to make 1-2-3 and DR-DOS not interoperate with one's product would count. (-:
The reality is that we've been through this cycle, with IBM, Microsoft, Apple, and Google, four times.
VIM has become my favorite platform and video game at the same time! Plus: I heard that it is useful for text editing too.
