leeleedeeNew glasses. The BDV/prism part is the same, even though it's gotten a little worse in the last few years, the optomitrist said that since I'm already on a very high prism lens strength, going higher could become unconfortable for me.
Now though, I also have bifocals so that I can read better. And holy shit! Being able to read the small print on packaging again is a joy! I didn't even need to get my maginifying glass out!
Yay my dumb old eyes! This is gonna take some getting used to.

Дими́трийVisited the optometrist today. Still 20/20, but I've got a slight astigmatism, so it's a good chance I'll be needing glasses at some point (if they gestapo doesn't haul me off to the gas chamber first).
The doctor was kind of enough to send me the pictures she took of my retinas. I thought they looked sort of celestial and pretty neat.

Like, I currently wear blue light blocking glasses, and I didn't notice a huge difference since I started wearing them, but maybe they are good for me, and I don't wanna hurt my sleep or anything. Like, I think it could help, since I spend a lot of time on my devices like my phone and various computers.

Question for any nerds out there who might know more than me. I'm getting another pair of glasses from Zenni, and they're offering their infrared light blocking glasses called Zenni ID Guard. From what I see from their marketing, this seems like it might be good, since they say it blocks the infrared light that can be used to track your face. But, tbh, idk if that's just marketing bullshit, or something that actually meaningfully improves privacy. So like, would you recommend these, or should I just save my money?
