@tinker I do point these things out to folks from the #USA as well as tools to calculate their actual net payout (i.e. https://nettolohn.de for #Germany) as well as the fact that most things here are #mandatory, not "#perks" like #AffordableHealthcare, #PTO / #PaidVacationLeave, #PaidSickLeave, #PensionFunds, etc. and that these are 100% #transferable across employers and not tied to a specific employment. (I.e. your remaining PTO does transfer!)

• OFC employers may offer benefits on top of that like a company car they can use as an individual (tho they'd have to pay tax on that -> #NotTaxAdvice / #NotFinancialAdvice!), or subsidized #PublicTransport tickets or just terms that are better than the legally mandated minimums.

Granted, #CostOfLiving in the #USA have gone so absurdly high and #wages have stagnated so hard that >50% of the people there literally can't afford to survive there!

Furthermore I wounder why it wasn't incorporated as a registered #cooperative [eG] or registered #nonprofit #foundation [eV] instead?

• Maybe it's because a cooperative would've required external #auditing and like the nonprofit foundation would've required both more stakeholders, transparency and democratic structures and bylaws?

• I mean, that's #NotLegalAdvice and #NotTaxAdvice as well as #NotFinancialAdvice but it still does beg the questions of "how?" and espechally "why?" and it rubs me personally on that wrong part labeled "#sus"...

Making it practical since those are exempt from Emission Zone regulations and get way lower road tax...

Also legally those cashier reciepts do come with actual usefulness as businesses can actually use them to get taxes reimbursed and account for business expenses like material purchases (i.e. a restaurant buys a pack of kitchen tissues or toilet papers and thus these are business expenses)...

#NotLegalAdvice #NotTaxAdvice but unlike #NFTs they actually fulfill a function and provide value, also even the most toxic #ThermalPaper is less envoirmentally bad than #Ethereum!
