The #GoldenGuide was my first bird id book. It covered the whole US and had little phonograms by the range maps. I actually identified a new bird (#NorthernParula) using ONLY the phonogram when I first moved to #Florida. The birds are usually high in the trees, you can hear them but not see them. Years went by before I saw the actual bird! 🙂
Easter Critters
Fittingly, on a walk following a huge Easter meal, I ran into… some Easter bunnies (au naturel)
And a bonus I was not at all expecting (same as the rabbits), a new one for me: a very tiny, colorful Northern Parula .
