@ChrisMayLA6 Political tourism is just one part of the scheme/system. Mostly those politicians who do that would've had the chance to put policies in power to reduce #climatecatastrophe causes.
The decision to eliminate the local ministry/institute which was responsible for a quick first response in spain is just one small example for local policies.
The major causes are indecisions/-action of govs to DO their part. #nomoreoil #endfossilfuel ...
@dsacer I started asking the powers that be to stop producing plastic in the ‘90s.
I was aghast w the onset of big, nasty disposable diapers in the ‘70s-‘80s.
Everything had become mass-produced, disposable plastic, toxic garbage that’s killing our planet.
Stop ordering stuff online. Use reusable bags. So many small acts we can all do to make a difference.

Oil pipelines are often symbolized as black snakes FYI

In perspective, Elon Jet will burn aproximately 1570 liters of fuel on a 400 Km flight, releasing 4 tons of CO² to the atmosphere in just 1 hour, same amount as the average World citizen in ONE YEAR!

Forget avoiding straws, forget recycling, let's focus on stopping the private jets!

Because of their emissions, don't call billionaires, call them environmental criminals. They're getting away with ecocide!

On March 24, 1989, the Exxon Valdez, an oil supertanker owned by Exxon Shipping Company bound for Long Beach, California struck Prince William Sound's Bligh Reef, 1.5 mi (2.4 km) west of Tatitlek, Alaska at 12:04 a.m. and spilled 10.8 million US gallons (257,000 bbl) (or 37,000 tonnes) of crude oil over the next few days.
