Es más, las ONG denuncian que incluso podría rebajarse la ambición planteada en 2015 por dicho Acuerdo. El movimento por el clima ya habla abiertamente de “fracaso de la cumbre”.
Los principales contaminantes bloquean las negociaciones en las últimas horas de la COP. Fridays for Future llama a una sentada masiva en la entrada del Palacio de Congreso del Ifema este viernes para presionar a los gobiernos a que firmen una acuerdo ambicioso.
La posibilidad de la creación de un mercado global de emisiones de carbono, que se negocia en la Cumbre del Clima de Madrid, amenaza, según las organizaciones campesinas y ecologistas, con “otra década más de inacción, distracción y acaparamiento del poder por las grandes empresas”.
