We need to build a new web.
It would exclude a bunch of things (pop ups, AI content, bad search engines) and have a certification authority and a browser that only searches within that ecosystem.
It'll be small at first, but so was the original one.
Start with #smallWeb content and the news sites that do 'lite' compact summaries, and build on top of that.

Ever think about activitypub is a tiny bit like RSS. I mean.. not at all, but also kind of.
In a platform and client independent follow whoever supports the format kind of way. Long form, short form, news, video, pictures, whatever.. Just like it used to be.
Except it's designed such that you have a server that'll cash posts for local distribution. There was a web based rss service that did that too 🤔
