SSFC KDT ππβ½πΉπ»πΊβthe thing i think i'm having trouble with regarding new #trek is that, trek used to take itself more seriously. I mean, even when it was being funny, it was still taking itself seriously, just having fun. And #newtrek simply says, let's not take anything seriously ever at all, let's just literally rewrite the script every day, until what you've made has nothing but passing visual resemblance to where you came from.
Today is #NewTrek Day!!!
And #ThroughTheLensOfTime is once again in track to be one of the best episodes of the season.

Now that #Discovery is ending I may just have to start.
Iβve seen the first few episodes of #Picard and #StrangeNewWorlds and am looking forward to catching up.

Kevin C π¬I think I've finally figured out what annoys me about #NuTrek - it feels unbelievably safe!
The effects are fantastic and all, but I don't think one of these episodes has challenged any part of my worldview at all, and that seems kinda sad. I can see why, they're spending a boatload of cash on so few episodes that they can't afford to alienate anyone.
