I haven't watched any #NewTrek yet. Have they managed how to keep large barrels secure when they are stacked three or four shelves high?
@SecularJeffrey Well it seems they've laid off the lower decks, so who can say.
Keyla Detmer

Memory Alpha

@prozacchiwawa

Scanned the Alpha site, but didn't notice if they at least string one chain, wire, cable, rail or force-field around stacked heavy cargo containers? On The D, people were ALWAYS at risk of grievous injury by barrels.

#OSHA

@SecularJeffrey kind of related that keyla detmer got her eye implant after an encounter with an exploding console.

here's a cargo bay from picard season 2 episode 3: ironically this is probably safer than what's typical because the cargo crates are just left to tumble where they fell.

@SecularJeffrey There's a couple scenes in Lower Decks where all the barrels are a weird shape, and the crew complains about how there's no real way to keep them from falling over.

@bryan

I've heard their humor is deep in the lore with a jillion call backs

@SecularJeffrey There are so many callbacks, and they're done well. They even try to get as many original actors for the voices as they can.

@bryan

I was glad to hear that LQ was a bigger hit than ever with the kids.
