I have avoided watching any #NewTrek because I’m a curmudgeon.
Now that #Discovery is ending I may just have to start.
I’ve seen the first few episodes of #Picard and #StrangeNewWorlds and am looking forward to catching up.

@SecularJeffrey Some advice: Both Discovery and Picard are very much long-form storytelling. SNW is more like the Trek you are used to.
And do try Lower Decks. The first couple of episodes are a bit frenetic, but it settles in to being a comedic tribute to all things Trek.
I’ve been following the discourse all along and this is the general impression I’ve got so far.
I’m watching TNG “Family” where Jean-Luc goes home to the vineyard and was reminded of the beginning of Picard when he was living there and this gave me the bug to see more. Lower Decks seems like a lot of fun.
I understand that L.Q “Sonny” Clemmons has a burgeoning music career and is chasing low mileage pit woofies IN THE FUTURE!
@SecularJeffrey Strange New Worlds is the closest I've felt to TNG with the newer Trek series. Even with Picard.
All in a good way.
And Anson’s hair is a big selling point too!
@SecularJeffrey They are all fantastic for their own reasons. I'm definitely in the minority for liking how Discovery made Klingons a little less human in Season 1.
SNW feels the most like Star Trek. Start there.
