2023 movie viewings, #7. Last week I had the chance to rewatch Abel Ferrara's early hit, 1990's King of New York (my review), so I thought I'd take the opportunity to also watch one of his most notorious flops (or at least "notorious" when it comes to a certain fan base), 1998's badly botched cyberpunk thriller New Rose Hotel, especially since this would be the first time I'd be able to watch it in full high-def legally on a streaming channel, versus the crappy low-rez BitTorrented copy I watched the first time I saw it.
