I recently moved my Nest Audio speakers to the top of a couple of shelves in the corners of the office, and HOLY COW they sound so much better than being sort of in the open in the living room. I always forget how much of a difference speaker placement makes, especially for low end…

They’re not hi-fi speakers or anything, but I can absolutely rock out while working, now. 🤘

Anyone else get the #googlehome / #nestaudio updates on their #googleassistant ? They cannot do much of anything and respond “sorry there was a glitch” 😅 I asked the Nest Audio when it updated its firmware last and it gave me this generic, “if I’m connected to the WiFi I’m up to date” line, which I guess is true, but also not what I asked.

Anyhow, sent a bunch of logs. I feel badly for the team who is receiving them. I’m reading them myself and there’s so much content 🥲

Just replaced my Amazon Echo Plus with a Google Nest Audio, and can confirm the sound quality on the Google 🔊 is noticeably better.

Also love that you can control volume and play/pause by touching the speaker. Always had to peer at the buttons on the Echo. #intuitive #smartspeakers #echo #NestAudio
