Google has further enshittified the Nest hub with Gemini. I used to say, "What’s the weather," and it showed on screen the temperature and sky conditions for the next six or seven hours. Now it shows me just the text it's reading. I guess if I was hearing impaired that would be nice, although the previous graphic display would work too.
I now have to say, "Show me the hourly forecast." I'm surprised I don't have to tell it what CSS to use. 😏

Turns out I can use #homeassistant to restrict #youtube usage on our #Google #NestHub which has about 0 parental control options 😅
Simple automation to turn off media player if the `app_name` matches `YouTube` triggered by `is_playing` event on the device worked wonders 👍
