For the twenty second #30MapsInAMonth are three maps showing Natural earth data https://www.naturalearthdata.com/.

The first map show the 10m urban layer for the low countries, the second two the Islands and Northern Island and Europe with heavy rail lines.

Tiling Spilhaus - I remember seeing somewhere that it's possible to tile a world map in the Spilhaus projection, but I don't remember seeing it done so I thought I'd have a go. It works...
World map as raster data from #NaturalEarthData, projected to Spilhaus projection with #QGIS, exported as image. In #Inkscape image was duplicated 15 times, rotated as necessary and tiled. End result is complex but fun!

#QGIS, along with a per-category *translate* value. Using #NaturalEarthData's Admin 1 shapes and the "region_sub" attribute for a quick test.
