Absolutely! For Alberta, Edmonton-Red Deer-Calgary is the obvious easy win (why hasn't it happened yet?!)
But then Yeg to Saskatoon & YYC to Regina & Lethbridge.
Edmonton-Hinton, Calgary-Canmore, at least, wouldn't be a prohibitive start.
It has to happen, eventually. Electric cars are not the panacea.
And, as @Kellyshenanigans says, we need updated locomotives.
