"The National Weather Service (#NWS) out of Gray, Maine has confirmed a high-end #EF1 tornado with winds of 110 mph touched down in Lyme, New Hampshire on Tuesday evening. It was on the ground for 1.8 miles.

"Dozens of trees were knocked down close to Whipple Hill Road. Based on the pattern of wind damage, the National Weather Service determined it was indeed a #tornado, rather than straight-line winds. "
