As I now have #Claude - I wanted to see what I can do with the Skills. So I asked it to help me make a skill to check my external IP and if it's changed update my DNS entries to point back here using the #MythicBeasts API

Manually run for now - but no need to keep logging in and manually updating the 4 domains that point back!

I only heard of #MythicBeasts last week, while receiving help for my #HomeLab from a very helpful chap in UK.

I wanted to try them because they provide an API for domains they manage which allows me to update the DNS records, and so maintain a dynamic IP without adding another service provider just for that.

I now have that working and was very impressed with everything so far, so take a look. Especially at the end which explains why they are so good.

#LetsDeGoogle but which bit next? Phone! Fairphone 4 running /e/OS does all I need.

I'm already moving e-mail for 100 memberships to my own domain, registered with 123-reg and using 123/Fasthosts/GoDaddy for DNS. WWW and e-mail are on a #MythicBeasts server based in Holland.
