It’s fun that Musselburgh hats are two in one. Obviously I had to knit one for my bony partner in crime. The resulting folded brim is four layers thick, though, which was challenging at this size.

The light is gone for today, but I was able to get one photo. This is the Musselburgh Hat that I knit for my posable skeleton. It (the hat) is roughly 4.25 inches long (10.8 cm) and looks really cute. The middle section becomes the folded brim.

Finished a #MusselburghHat for my 4-year old daughter who wanted bright pink and rainbow colours.
I like this pattern because you can knit right away without swatching and end up with a good size. Plus, it is several hats in one.
Pictures: one long shaped sausage-like thing, plus the different ways you can fold it into a hat. One side is bright pink with silver thread added, one side is blue with rainbow colour specks added.
