Well. Yesterday it got up to 34° Celsius here.

I fed & watered the sheep & alpacas then we headed to the top of #MountMacedon for a couple of hours of cool breezes.

When we got home around 1:45 or so, I turned on our fan & we both took prescription pain meds & knocked ourselves out for the rest of the day.

It was the best hot day I’ve had in ages.

Yes, we were both in pain from our various ailments, no, we didn’t take more than required, we just took our night time doses.

Trees across #MountMacedon have been knocked down after being clear felled, #devastating the local #Landcare group.

“It is just devastating to walk around this area that was a native forest right near the top of Mount Macedon and see trees smashed on the ground for hundreds of metres,” she said.

“This area was home to #wombats and #birds, #wallabies and #echidnas, and now those animals will be struggling to survive.”
