Zapping Across the Bridge | Soapbox

It is now possible to zap across the bridge. By leveraging existing technology in the ecosystem, sats can now flow between Nostr and the Fediverse. The is a first step in the journey to integrate payments with Soapbox.

@paul I was just followed by a cryptic account on mostr.pub. When I tried to view its profile in a web browser, all I got was a .bin download. That should not happen.

I'm also an instance admin trying to decide whether to defederate that server. That's a decision we do not take lightly.

Checked in on nostr social platforms a little bit today and got a little excited I found some non-crypto convo and started following only to realize I was following same people i do from nostr account that I already do on fedi Lol b/c of the fedi<-->nostr bridge. Experiencing that bridge, I am warming up to the fedi<-> BlueskySocial Beta bridge...but Bluesky Social public benefit company's surveillance business model though!
