AGI - In un San Siro vestito a festa, l’Inter pareggia per 1-1 contro il già retrocesso Verona. Minimo sforzo per i ragazzi di Chivu che si divertono davanti al proprio pubblico. Partita inevitabilmente dai pochi contenuti tecnico‑tattici: all’autorete di Edmundsson in apertura di secondo tempo, ha risposto Bowie nel recupero. Ora può scattare la festa Scudetto dei neocampioni d’Italia che, una volta alzato il trofeo, sfileranno in pullman per le vie di Milano fino a tarda serata.
Ritmo basso e primo tempo a reti bianche a San Siro, anche perché il gioco dell’Inter manca di qualche automatismo, a causa dei tanti cambi di formazione. Al 24’ i nerazzurri hanno la prima grande chance del match, quando il tiro dalla distanza di Mkhitaryan si spegne di poco a lato. L’armeno è ancora pericoloso al 42’, stavolta in area di rigore: Montipò para la conclusione avversaria e poi Lautaro spreca, calciando fuori da buona posizione. Qualche guizzo offensivo anche del Verona che, al 22’, sfiora il vantaggio col colpo di testa di Lovric, parato in controtempo da Sommer.
Nella ripresa l’Inter rientra in campo con maggiore cattiveria e, non a caso, trova immediatamente l’1-0. Al 47’, da corner, la spizzata in area di Bonny manda in crisi Edmundsson, autore di un impacciato autogol. I padroni di casa sfiorano a più riprese il 2-0, ma Lautaro è poco freddo sottoporta. Al 51’ il capitano nerazzurro calcia a incrociare verso la porta, trovando la pronta risposta col piede di Montipò; al 57’, invece, l’argentino si mangia il gol a due passi dalla porta, calciando a botta sicura sul portiere avversario.
Nel finale c’è spazio per l’esordio del canterano Mosconi, vicino al gol all’83’ con un mancino che termina a fil di palo. In pieno recupero, il Verona trova la rete del pari, grazie a Bowie, una delle poche note liete della stagione del Verona: l’attaccante scaligero punisce la lettura difensiva erronea di una distratta difesa nerazzurra. L’Inter chiude così la propria stagione casalinga con un pari e salendo a quota 86 punti in classifica. Che la festa ora abbia inizio.

In the second half, Inter returned to the field with more aggression and, unsurprisingly, immediately found 1-0. In the 47th minute, from a corner, Bonny’s spillage in the area caused a crisis for Edmundsson, who made an awkward own goal. The hosts repeatedly threatened the 2-0, but Lautaro was not very cold in front of goal. In the 51st minute, the Nerazzurri captain kicks crosswise towards the goal, finding Montipò’s quick response; instead, in the 57th minute, the Argentine misses the goal just two steps from the goal, kicking directly at the opposing goalkeeper.
In the final moments, there was space for the debut of young Mosconi, close to goal in the 83rd minute with a shot that ended on the crossbar. In added time, Verona scored the equalizer, thanks to Bowie, one of the few pleasant notes of the season for Verona: the Italian striker punished the defensive reading error of a distracted Nerazzurri defense. Inter thus closed its home season with a draw and reaching 86 points in the standings. Let the party now begin.
