Marracash: “Elodie didn’t speak to me for almost 4 years. Then we reunited on stage for a concert and that means it was a real thing, a real love.”
“King Marracash” is in cinemas until May 27th. The docu-film tells the story of the artist between public and private life, with space also for the love chapter. The relationship with Elodie began on the set of “Margarita” and is remembered by Marracash as “a beautiful story.” He continues: “For me it was a very relaxed and happy moment. It was born on the set of Margarita. I started to act stupid with her, and that's where it all began. The moment we met was a time of change for both of us, my career was blossoming and hers was just starting.”
When I wrote ‘Noi, Loro e Gli Altri’, the drama exploded there because I started to doubt our story. And so we confront that drama, we start talking about the possibility of breaking up. We were actually trying, we weren’t decided to end things, we were trying to save something. Then we shot that cover, by the way, we were at the boyfriend of her mom’s house, who had made this villa available to us where we shot the cover, and then the story ended, the cover was already there, and I said it was important that she was there, because she was part of that thing. I don’t believe in erasing the past, meaning the past doesn’t disappear, you have to come to terms with it.”
Then questioned until the breakup and symbolically closed with an arrow through the rapper’s body in the music video for “Crazy Love.” “She didn’t speak to me for almost four years, and I wondered what love was. I believe it’s important to love each other, and it can last forever. I have less trust in couples and possession, which then destroys the feeling. However, you see, the fact that after so many years we got back together means it was a real thing, a true love,” emphasizes Marracash. In Barona, in April, the two took the stage together after a long time.
Another circle closed. Like San Siro, the Block party, the trilogy of albums. And Fabio, who, now, is merging more and more with Marracash: “There’s a lot of my story in my songs. What I say and what I am coincide. I come from the outskirts of everything. I come from nothing that can be inspirational for everyone.”

Paolo Maldini heading to Fenerbahçe, meeting with candidate president Safi: “A great football mind and a true friend.”
Paolo Maldini ready to restart with Fenerbahçe. And for Milan fans, it’s news that feels like a betrayal, perhaps the latest in a period that has become increasingly difficult to digest. The former captain and Rossoneri director, architect of the 2022 Scudetto victory, could actually take on a managerial role at the Turkish club in the event of Hakan Safi winning the presidential elections on June 6th and 7th.
According to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, on Saturday, May 23rd Maldini met Safi in Istanbul to discuss “planning and football strategy.” This summit was also confirmed by the former Rossoneri technical director himself, who yesterday posted a photo with the Fenerbahçe presidential candidate on social media accompanied by words that were not overlooked: “Wonderful stay in Istanbul with Hakan Safi.” And still: “A great football mind, a passionate leader, and, most importantly, a true friend. We had excellent discussions about football and I’m sure we’ll continue to share many more moments together in the future.”
Safi’s project would be ambitious: to return Fenerbahçe to winning the championship after 12 years through a significant purchase campaign, with two strikers, a goalkeeper, and a left-footed central defender. And precisely the relationship with Maldini has already sparked rumors in Turkey about a possible interest in Rafa Leao.
However, for the Milan fanbase, the issue goes far beyond the market. The potential return of Maldini to football represents the symbol of what Milan has lost in recent years. Since Gerry Cardinale decided to distance himself from him in 2023, interrupting the project that had brought the Scudetto back to San Siro, the Rossoneri club has entered a negative spiral culminating this season with the failure to qualify for the Champions League and the dismissal of the entire management.
Just on the day that Milan announced a clean slate, Maldini posted the first shot of a possible return to football, to contribute to the relaunch of another major European club. An instant that increases the regret of the Rossoneri fans.

“Allegri always says it: it’s about who wins. And then you take responsibility. Milan isn’t a circus,” the speech by Adani.
Father time, this time, has given Lele Adani reason. The Milan is disastrously out of the Champions League and the former footballer during the latest episode of Sports Sunday on Rai launched his long rant against Max Allegri, who is his greatest detractor. A long speech, which touched on several points: from the responsibilities that are only placed on the company to the millions spent on the market, from the lack of play to past statements. Adani’s thesis is clear and doesn't surprise: Allegri is, in his opinion, the main culprit of the Rossoneri’s failure and the club should start over with a new coach, with a tactical approach more suitable for the history of Milan.
The faults of the company and the market
Adani’s speech starts with the harsh criticism that took place at San Siro, with the whistles targeting especially the company. “The fans suffer the most. They are the ones who actually wear the shirt, on their skin. But forgive me: Cardinal’s ownership has invested 500 million in three years. Five hundred million. Does Cardinal go on the field? Does Ibrahimovic go on the field? Does Moncada go on the field? Does Furlani go on the field? They were first criticized Fonseca and Conceição, then they were sent away because the savior of the homeland was about to arrive. Without cups, without another game a week, playing only on Sundays. He had to coach and that's it.” Adani also emphasizes that Allegri had reinforced squad: “He spent 160 million to get important players (Modric, Rabiot), nationals, heavy investments. Allegri says he has no fault. I hear former players saying that Tare has no fault. So who has it? Who chose those players?”
Allegri’s responsibilities according to Adani
“Here we are not talking about two or three unlucky games. We are talking about an entire group stage. If you finish sixth there’s a reason,” continues Adani. That then cites a famous concept of the Rossoneri coach: “He always says Allegri: it counts who wins. And so if one always wins and the others lose, you have to take responsibility. Because here there was a team that played once a week and had to fix the defense, find balance, grow. Guys, Milan doesn’t score on counterattacks with a twelve-game striker. Twelve. A third of the championship. And we’re not talking about Cremonese or Lecce. We’re talking about Milan. And the field, in the end, said this,” attacks Adani.
The lack of a vision
The former footballer, continuing his speech on Sports Sunday, returns to the concept of play: “Whoever has a line, a vision, a culture of work, who seeks to achieve the result through noble means, can be rewarded. And if they make a mistake at the last turn they can try again, because they have built culture.” Then another harsh attack on Allegri: “Whoever lives by being cunning, trying to manipulate, trying to find shortcuts to justify what is not justifiable, eventually pays.”
“Milan is not a circus”
According to Allegri, in short, the real fault of the management is having chosen a coach like Allegri: “How do you instill a mentality if you choose a coach who hasn’t produced football of proposal and a culture of work oriented to growth for seven years, assuming that he has ever done so? If you live only on today’s result, without building tomorrow, sooner or later you will pay. And indeed when everyone else was tired, wounded, drained, you could accelerate having only one game a week.” Allegri's final thesis is clear and involves the club’s history: “Milan is not a circus. It’s not a place where you arrive on Saturday, everyone laughs together, and then you think that’s enough. Milan is history. It’s culture. And since Berlusconi and Sacchi it’s also entertainment. Restoring this must be the priority.” Adani concludes by quoting Johan Cruyff: “If you don’t understand when you win, how you win, and how you play, you’ll never understand why you lose.”

Marracash: “I’ve never felt like a gangster for dealing drugs or stealing motorcycles, in Barona those were normal experiences. The turning point with rap and after meeting Gue. The anxiety? A ferocious beast.”
In the Barona neighborhood, on the outskirts of Milan where he grew up, they never stopped calling him Fabio. There, Marracash remained the son of the public housing projects. In the minds of many, when visiting, he always returned as that young boy who followed the rules of the street (“because certain experiences were normal”) and who never felt like a gangster “for having dealt in and stolen four motorcycles.” But he was good at writing essays and read a lot “because it was an inexpensive pastime.”
Flash forward: Fabio became Marracash. Or rather, the Marracash mask tore open to almost coincide with Fabio and expose his fears, vulnerabilities, and strengths. He tells it in “King Marracash,” the documentary film by Pippo Mezzapesa that recounts the artist’s career – produced by Groenlandia in collaboration with Disney Plus – and that will be in theaters until May 27th.
A journey backward into the life of the rapper, starting from the destination: the San Siro concert in June 2025. “One of those impossible things,” Marra confessed in an old interview. A milestone described by those who shared the journey with him (manager Paola Zukar, friends from the neighborhood, colleagues Guè and Elodie, brother Mirko, to name a few), from the underground to social centers, to freestyle battles by the wall. And that became the realization of a dream.
