Ummm. So why does the #MonsterManual (2024) not have regular lizardfolk. We've got geomancers (CR2) and we've got sovereigns (CR4) but no regular lizardfolk?
I mean, sure, I've got the original Monster Manual (and so, so many more books) but still ... seems like you should have the baseline monster.

I'm really enjoying the #DnD2024 #MonsterManual . I love the art, I enjoy how they handle monster spellcasting now (primarily using Int instead of Cha), I like the changes to naming conventions (bye-bye culturally-appropriative phylacteries, hello spirit jars), and I'm pleased by the concept changes in such beings as the genies (especially the dao and efreeti). Don't like that groups such as demons, devils, dragons and yugoloths...
