On November 23, #Ukrainian athlete #Danylo_Yavhusyshyn, whose ring name is #Aonishiki_Arata, won a top-tier sumo tournament and claimed the #Emperors_Cup.
In the playoff final of the #Kyushu_Basho, he faced #Tomokatsu_Hōshōryū of #Mongolia and defeated him.
#Danylo became the first #Ukrainian in history to win the most prestigious competition in sumo. #Moreover, at just 21, he is now the fourth-youngest athlete ever to win a top-division tournament.
Somehow missed the existence of Legend of Khiimori until yesterday.
