Finally started to try my hands at mold making for tin casting. I decided to go for some #larp coins.

As I just started out last week, I'm quite happy with the result. This is my second mold design.

Generally, from 3D designing the coins in #blender, to creating the mold with years old silicon, to actual casting in our flat with a hand burner, this went smoother than I feared. Still had quite a few missteps and learning experiences.

Estas fiestas hemos tenido update de las #Pokeball y el proyecto molde.

Resumen: estamos MUY cerca pero hay fallos gordos. Se ve increíble, con mucho brillo y eso que no las he pulido. Pero las burbujas me están amargando. Los bordes están fatal.

Pero bueno, ya casi está, se vienen prontito!

Making a silicone mold for a project today. If this works I need to make one about 25 centimeters square. (Though I’m pretty sure this may need some tweaking.) This one is like 10cm square.
