Our girl had been through it by the time I found her at The Thrift Shoppe. A bedraggled skirt partially glued around her hips, and matted fur.

I decided I wanted to lean in to the haphazard vibes, and do visible stitching, mismatched black & white fabrics, a variety of textures, and a chaotic bit of embroidery.

They were covered in loose threads, and had some hot glue stuck to their fur when I found them at The Thrift Shoppe, and now they're an internationally renowned clown.

I had a lot of fun working on this one, and tried embroidering for the first time in order to add some makeup details.

I don't want to name names (Walm*rt), but this $1 little teddy bear I found at the Thift Shoppe was Not Well Made, and literally falling apart with plastic threads poking out every which way.

Now they're an anarchist, and think mutual aide & community are how we keep each other safe.

Mentre nel 2020 cercavo di studiare il 3D per lavoro, mi lanciai con Cinema 4D a modellare (male) questo omaggio a Tetsuwan-Atom/Astroboy, mashuppato con un braccio che richiamava logo ed estetica del video di Bjork "All is full of Love".

Fun fact: la cover dell'album "Army of Me" presenta proprio un ATOM fatto in 3D :D
