Still need to add 29MHz, 51MHz and 23297MHz to the bunch.
The 145MHz one is out of the picture.
And the Televa branded MD59 is waiting to modded far enough for it to be able to accept a connecting port for Module17, for some M17 moppe funs.

Here's another angle of it.
The antenna connection is the SMB female inside that hole there.
Rather inconvenient.
The RX card also has SMB female, TX has SMB female as well, but on a pig tail cable and not soldered to the PCB directly.

A tiny bit dirty, but temporary RX connection I have in my Nokia ME59 while I'm modifying it to 23cm.
The TX side is going to be an annoying pile of work, essentially a complete rebuild.
The 5 stage PA designed in the eighties is going to be an absolute bear to drag from 900 MHz to 1297MHz.
So I don't think the BFR93A-> BLU98 -> BLV90-> BLV92 -> BLV94 stack will survive.
Replacing it in full or in part will likely happen.

Nokia-Mobira MD59NB NMT450 RF side.
Mid conversion to 70cm hamband
Picture taken before the power amplifier was tuned up, but after the TX filter was tuned from 467MHz down to 434MHz.

Nokia-Mobira HC17.
One of the worst,(or at least with the worst battery life) synthetized handheld radios ever made.
It is:
Heavy.
Has bad battery life.
Bad keyboard.
DE9 accessory connector is hard to use.
Display is small, recessed and consumes large amounts of current due to ancient LED's.
It is controlled by a full fat DIP CPD1802, contributing to the bad battery life.

There is a 2m hamband firmware image for it on Moppe Akatemia.

Haha! The receive local oscillator locks.
