La lourde porte en bois du musée d’Histoire naturelle de New York grince et se referme derrière toi.
La grande salle s’étend devant toi, éclairée seulement par les rayons de lune filtrant par les fenêtres.
Le silence est oppressant. Seule, dans ce musée que tu connais si bien, chaque ombre semble respirer.
Ta main se glisse lentement sur la crosse de ton fusil.
The warning came too soon.
Irena had a heightened sense of catastrophe that was out of proportion to the threat. She inhabited the threat for days, and it impacted every hour.
Preparations had been made as soon as the warning had been broadcast, so that all threat readiness was complete, but it left the time hanging between the warning and the event. It was impossible for her to settle to any activity that would have occupied her if there had not been a warning.
As the hours retreated from the warning and turned into days, Irena realised she had been holding her breath and told herself she’d over-reacted, and finally decided the warning had been over-played. Irena undid all the preparations she’d made and went back to her normal way of being.
Then, disaster struck.

Es ist ein dramatischer #Katastrophenfilm, der ausschließlich Originalszenen aus dem täglichen #Bahnbetrieb verwendet.
Unser Protagonist sieht sich mit Zugausfällen, Umleitungen und Verspätungen konfrontiert.
Zum eskalierenden Höhepunkt kommt es mit seinem totalen Ausraster nach der Durchsage: „Vielen Dank für Ihr Verständnis.“
