I'm preoccupied with a number of things. So, for the moment, I'm only working on #FOSS games intermittently. But I thought I'd comment that what you've been doing strikes me as positive and important.

To put high quality game assets under #creativecommons CC0 is unusual and a step that will make a difference.

If you don't receive much positive feedback, remember that people are more inclined to comment when they're unhappy about something.

Perhaps consider writing more about the history and purpose of your project, organize things into a single large tarball or ZIP file, and post it at Internet Archive. Note: Internet Archive is able to handle multi-gigabyte files.

I've done this myself with some of my own #gamedev software and online worlds.

Note: The pending Kenney Flag Pack will be used to supplement the Final Minetest Flags Mod.

Hi everyone, update to version "0.8.1" of "Oceanblock" added, with minor adjustments such as:
- Reduced glow, view range, and speed of the ghost fish that were annoying on mobile.
- count of sharks reduced to 1.
- Ability to remove and add items in the "Water Strainer" by pressing "shift-click" (thanks to "Mantar" for improving this 😉

@cassidy My six year old was also curious about Minecraft. And although I bought the game way back when it started, I preferred to introduce him to #minetest (@Luanti). I was never able to get the mob and villages mods to work correctly (we never found any villages and the mobs are super rare) but he still had a lot of fun in creative mode, making his own house and digging around.

"Oceanblock" approved on contentdb 🎉 .
A mod similar to Skyblock but set in the ocean, with a little progression, achievements, and some other things you can discover.
Made in practically a week, so it's very simple, but it can provide a few hours or days rebuilding the world in your gameplay

Fazem exatos 5 meses que #AtCraft está offline.
Estranho pensar nisso, pois, mesmo eu tento aquele interesse absurdo em administrar, ainda existe chances de querer manter um #servidor aberto.

raining items by NO11 is a luanti mod that works with voxelibre and minetest game that randomly drops all kinds of items from both the base game and active mods.

I used it for a house building challenge where I build the best house possible with raining drops from voxelibre & pixelzone's pixelfurniture/zombies4test

Just fixed beds in Minetest, now they're actually fun. They don't pop up a dialog freezing your action, preventing you from even telling people to get to bed, and they don't force skip the night. So you can chat and fiddle with stuff in bed waiting for other players to lie down or d/c. A second right-click skips the night if enough are asleep. A left-click gets out of bed. Why didn't they design it this way in the first place??

Now I just have to find people to play with... anyone here play Minetest?
