Tiny droplets, big potential.

Yale scientists studied 5,000 breakups to understand how droplets split under different conditions.

A step forward for microfluidics applications.

Building a better, more precise droplet

A humble droplet can be an immensely useful tool for a number of fields, from medicine to manufacturing. Controlling the size of the droplet, though, is an important—and very tricky—task. With unprecedented precision, a team of researchers determined how droplets break up into smaller ones, at what size, and under what conditions. The results of this study are published in Soft Matter.

Nuclear Microreactors Advance as US Picks Two Companies for Fueled Testing - Slashdot

This week America's Energy Department selected two companies to perform the first nuclear microreactor tests in a new facility in Idaho, saying the tests "will fast-track the deployment of American microreactor technologies... The first fueled reactor experiment will start as early as spring 2026." ...

Next up for nuclear power: small, transportable and made in a factory near Pittsburgh

Small, transportable and mass-produced “microreactors” are seen as part of the future of nuclear power. And it's underway in Etna, where Westinghouse scientists are at work developing a nuclear microreactor called eVinci.

Are you able to give any hints about which #MicroReactors you are involved with? The one that come to mind for me is Oklo.

Also, what is the 'official' definition of a Micro Reactor?

Thanks.
