Part of that process is pulling materials from our collections for Congress members to be sworn in with. This year's special requests included Thomas Jefferson's Koran, Rosa Parks' Bible, and some vintage comic books! @robertgarcialb, who will be sworn in on the U.S. Constitution, will also have the Library's copy of Superman #1 in his stack of items. This is of personal significance to him, he says, because reading comic books helped him learn English! All materials will have a U.S. Capitol Police escort to and from the Capitol."
