If anyone has any thoughts on what they'd like to see in a new audio device for #RStats, feel free to reply here or DM.

Current {audio} pkg issues I'm bumping up against:

* It's optimized for single sound playback.
* It creates, allocates and then tears down a device connection for every sample played.
* It has no idea of multiple independent channels

I wish @siracusa used a MacBook Pro or trackpad more regularly — rather than a Microsoft Precision Mouse — because I’d ask if the trackpad reacts to Wristies in weird ways. Like activating the scroll bar to scroll up/down repeatedly.

One of my key use cases that doesn't seem to be supported by #MastodonVocabulary is boosting a post *with added commentary*. Like, where's my value add? I want to provide more context or my own thoughts as I send it along...

The work around is boosting and then finding the boosted post and commenting but I also have a hard time finding it? #MaybeItsJustMe #mastodonfeatures
