In the north island, #masthead instruments are a consumable product.
Side note: having the tallest #mast is not always the best thing.

This is my experience. To me, it’s like attending a cocktail party and just hanging out, letting certain threads catch your attention.
Eventually I muted one.
I added this in Stylus as well to clear YouTube’s fixed header:

Speaking of octagonal wood typefaces with round counters:
The #masthead of Better Letters #Magazine @blag is based on Gothic Paneled as shown by Wm. H. Page & Co. in 1874. The letterforms were redrawn by Utile studio, who also designed the magazine using @kontour’s Utile and Dalton Maag’s Aktiv Grotesk. BLAG is “the world’s only print and online publication dedicated to #SignPainting”.

New #introduction post. I opened a Mastodon account in early November, part of the first wave of #TwitterMigration. I settled on masthead.social out of sheer chance; a Twitter friend mentioned he'd found a home on that server and it was a big one! 40K people! So I thought, SURE that seems like a strong contender. Well, ladies and gents, masthead.social said (about a month ago) that it was going to be down for a few days, putting in a big honking new server. GREAT, thinks us mastheaders!
It didn't come back. We can't find it anywhere. There has been no news. I mean, they HAVE our email addresses, right??
So here I am, starting from scratch on infosec.exchange; which is prolly where I have always belonged. For I have to say, forced migration is kinda awful. Choose your server with care.
There were warning signs. They was no patreon, no way to tip or fund the server (which was weird.) I thought it was just growing pains. It was run by a collective, I couldn't really get much information on it.
Glad I'm back, but I have to completely re-do my account as one cannot change a server in the normal way if one's original server just cuts and runs. #masthead
Oh, no. masthead.social (the home of @podquiz and @starringthecomputer ) seems to have gone away! 😞
Anyone have any idea if it's going to return, or should I cut my losses?
