MatthewPlayed the first mission of Mars Tactics. One of the games on my list for 2023 that I was looking forward to.
So far I'm impressed. The tactical battle feels crunchy, quick. One wrong move or enemy burst, and your mission can go bad.
Games like this live or die on how the battles are affected by the strategy layer (and vice versa); demo has you rescuing prisoners lost in a previous mission. Sounds interestingly dynamic, but do need to see more.
