Two practical tools:

Assign a devil’s advocate. Give someone the formal job of arguing against your plan. This builds dissent into the process and protects against groupthink.

Managers (in the US, and probably elsewhere): reminder, it is your responsibility to push if needed to get your employees the appropriate amount for their annual salary increases.

You have much more power than they do to make sure the company is doing the right thing. You are their advocate.

Even if it means, say as a hypothetical, spending your Saturday morning confirming company policy and setting up Monday morning meetings with your leadership. Your team relies on you.
