Maria Mena - Try Again Tomorrow
https://song.link/y/wZJAkapkSQQ
If all you did today was try to survive
Force a smile and say "everything's fine"
If all you did was try to keep up appearances
A front for everyone
Then you should know
that you're not alone
That it's okay,
it's okay to feel lost, to feel tired
It's alright, you can turn off the light
- uninspired -
And try again tomorrow,
try again tomorrow
Just try again tomorrow,
try again tomorrow

Episode two hundred and eighty-eight is up now! Today's song is It Was Love by Maria Mena.
I discuss the tragic true story that inspired the song, and how it carries a message of universal love.

One of my go-to obscure songs is โWhatโs Another Dayโ by Norwegian singer #MariaMena ๐ณ๐ด. I donโt recall how I encountered this, but given that it was released in 2004, itโs likely because I was an avid listener then of Jam 88.3 FM.
Itโs interesting that I like this because it wasnโt released as a single. But I love how it starts acoustic with just piano then slowly becomes almost a rock song towards the end.
An ink sketch I drew of Maria Mena a few years ago.
