I don’t consider myself a Gleek, but I do like quite a lot of songs featured in the TV show #Glee. And among the numerous covers, one that is in my top favorites is Chris Colfer’s rendition of The Beatles’ “I Want to Hold Your Hand”. The original upbeat love song becomes this slow sad ode to a loved one and was used to devastating effect in the TV show.

I think #Kygo produces the most similar music to the late #Avicii and “Happy Now” in particular was sung by the same singer (Sandro Cavazza) as “Without You”, one of my favorite Avicii songs.
I also like how “Happy Now” is thematically similar to Marshmello/Bastille's “Happier” which I also really love.

The Strike is an American indie band I first heard of a more than a year ago and I immediately loved their sound! Their song “The Getaway” in particular is a very uplifting song that wouldn’t feel out of place in a road trip playlist. 😎 (The “Stripped” version of the song is also lovely if you want something more laid back.)

A random woman wrote this Dr Pepper jingle just for fun. It's so good that now it's a real commercial.

I’m embarrassed to admit that it was only recently that I learned of British singer #OliviaDean. And I instantly loved the first song of hers I heard, “Man I Need”; it gives an old-school 80s/90s vibe and is just a pleasure to listen to. 🎵
