After much trial and tribulation (failed updates, lack of support, ect.), a few more #SBC have been regulated to collecting dust today ... They will most likely not be remembered fondly or at all:

#MangoPiQuad
#OrangePiZero2W
#RaspberryPiZero2W
#MilkVMars
I am still tinkering with the #MangoPiQuad. I think I got a good understanding of #JWM and #Compton. Also had to play with a bunch of web browsers to see what works best and is fully functional (so that I can #toot); so far #Epiphany has worked the best on this low powered machine (but just barely 😬).
Super Tux Kart at 2 FPS?! Sign me up!

This #MangoPiQuad is punching past its weight class
@rl_dane @orbitalmartian Falkon works great. Firefox uses too many resources on the #MangoPiQuad. I also have Dillo too, but some sites don’t play nice on Dillo
This is peak computing

Here are how things are looking so far on the #JWM setup on the #mangopiquad.

I have to say, I have actually been enjoying this process.

#Neofetch #Conky
So in my hubris I decided to move from stable to testing on the #mangopiquad. Well, in short it broke all my configs or what not.

Did a fresh #Debian install as well as #JWM and #Compton. The transparency effects are now better looking things are running smoother.

More tweaks will be needed, but things are getting there and I am getting more practice with configs.
Okay, I think I have #JWM set up as close to ideal (for now) as I can get it. I installed #Compton for transparency effects; this upped my memory use on the #mangopiquad but it was worth it. I could still run #Clementine, #Kpat, and #Dillo at the same time, so I am good.  #Debian #armhf
Since the kiddo is home sick, it's time to learn some #JWM in the down times. So far it has been pretty straight forward. I will say running it on a #mangopiquad (#armhf) has made it trickier to set up; most tutorials/videos I have found are ppl running JWM on #X86.

So far with #Clementine, #Btop, and #Kpat running I am on average around 65% ram use, 20 to 40% cpu use, and temps averaging around 69 (nice) freedom units.
Some techie updates:

The #Good:
Switched the 2015 #MacBook over to vanilla #Fedora from #Silverblue. I kept running into issues with programs freezing and a few just not working. Troubleshooting was just too much of a hassle on Silverblue so I made the very easy switch.

The #Bad:
After lots of tinkering with the #MangoPiQuad, I think it is pretty much dead to me. It has done the heinous act of no longer being fun. So it is off to a drawer to collect dust (which is a fate less worse than the e-recycling bin like a few other #SBC met)

The #Ugly:
My place of employment has forced me over to #Windows11 🤢🤮🪦
