#Phanpy is great. I do wish there was a button on every post that let me boost+like in a single click as that would reduce my mouse traffic by 80%.

@glocq 1. Actually, people on every server can nowadays read LaTeX formulas — if they use https://phanpy.social or https://fedilab.app as their client. But only few people know that, I think.
2. The Unicode conversion obviously only works for formulas that can represented as Unicode. Maybe the formulas you typed earlier were just too complicated.

Howdy fedifolks, I am stupid and I need help being less stupid.

I'm trying to stand up a #gotosocial server to use for myself and maybe friends and family. I have the server up, my account works, I can log in with #phanpy, and I can find my account using this one and visa-versa... but when I look at the federated timeline there is nothing.

I basically expected this, I assume there is a step somewhere to tell gotosocial that I want to federate and with whom.... but I can not for the life of me figure out how to do that. This feels like it should be obviously front and center somewhere but I can find nothing.

Help!

Trying out @Tuba for the first time, and I'm surprised with how simple and clean it is. Yet it is feature rich including scheduled posts, and it works really well with @[email protected].

That said, I would love to see more apps adopt the inline carrousel for boosts like @phanpy, but other than that I have no complaints.
