I have had the "new" brussels sprouts, from fancy restaurants and fancy friend cooks.
"Not as bad as they used to be" is the only sales pitch you have.... they're still garbage.
Yes, roasted, with bacon and balsamic, crispy and opened up....
They're still the worst possible option for a vegetable dish.... there are at least four hundred million better-tasting options.
And don't assume I dislike all brassica. Love me some broccoli
