The caster can use part of their action to unleash the paradox dice and roll them for a Paradox Effect.

Why use action? Because it means the player must choose between accumulating more paradox or be less effective in the round to suffer a lesser effect.

I kinda like this system because it means a game could see some extended spell slinging action πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ§™β€β™€οΈ

As much as I'd like the Nox Engine to include a modular magic system, I just don't think I can manage it without making it too complicated, so I think I'll have to scrap and start over

Or specifically, set the previous aside in case I want to use it later πŸ˜…

Anyway, I think I will base the new magic system on Control and give it a sort of health-like system
