Whenever there's a price turn like this, check eBay before assuming TCGPlayer is your cheapest option. Sellers on eBay typically don't use automated price management tools. If they listed at the fire sale prices which are typical in the first week post-release, they become the cheapest option when everything returns to normal.

If you've been looking at any cards on The List to build up your Commander, Pioneer, Modern, Historic, or whatever decks, now is probably the time to jump on them. I don't know if it's market saturation or market manipulation, but a *LOT* of good reprints are going for 60-80% less than their original printings. Some MASSIVE savings to be had on some very desirable cards.

I don't care how Wizards of the Coast has attempted to screw with the naming of their Commander sets: As far as my internal labelling and references are concerned, "Streets of New Capenna Commander" is going to be "Commander 2022". It's clear that this is their big yearly Commander release, and they can't use another nomenclature for 10 years, then suddenly change it for some arbitrary reason connected to branding.

If you are just getting into Magic: The Gathering and enjoy Commander, you should pick up a set of the Commander decks for Streets of New Capenna. You will hear players complaining about a slight price increase from previous sets, but the caliber of cards being included is significantly higher. There are a *LOT* of staples from the past 3-4 years of sets, and it will provide a huge boost to any new player's library.
