Nice little draft night tonight. Fired off a Streets of New Capenna flashback draft, and I ended up with a pretty alright Esper deck.
Vs BR aggro: 0-2
Vs WRG treasure: 2-0
Vs RG aggro: 2-1
Tried to talk in a transatlantic accent for about half a game before both my opponent and I couldn’t stop laughing, so that was fun too.

Streets of New Capena taught me a lot about very aggressive gameplay. With a bit of coaching, I was able not block and focus on doing more damage on the crackback.
If you play Magic and you're not at least debating building a hasty goblin/dragon deck with this card, I don't know that we can be friends. Even if it's just for kitchen table jank, you have to AT LEAST be tempted. Especially as he's currently selling for "bulk rare" prices.

Whenever there's a price turn like this, check eBay before assuming TCGPlayer is your cheapest option. Sellers on eBay typically don't use automated price management tools. If they listed at the fire sale prices which are typical in the first week post-release, they become the cheapest option when everything returns to normal.

If you've been looking at any cards on The List to build up your Commander, Pioneer, Modern, Historic, or whatever decks, now is probably the time to jump on them. I don't know if it's market saturation or market manipulation, but a *LOT* of good reprints are going for 60-80% less than their original printings. Some MASSIVE savings to be had on some very desirable cards.
