One of the things that makes NAMI Delaware so special is watching people grow within our community and then turn around and give back in meaningful ways.

Maia first joined us as an intern, and since then, she’s returned as our Fellow and expanded her role to help lead Storytime with NAMI, creating safe and welcoming spaces for children. Also, we will hear from our Housing Director, Shantasia, who can share more about the heart behind the work

June is National Migraine & Headache Awareness Month in the USA. Half our core staff have regular migraines and we’re pretty certain it’s one of the factors that’s affected our culture, our approach and flexibility, and our bonding as a working family. NSPN News

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed in these times of uncertainty. During this #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth I want to remind everyone that it's okay to not be okay AND absolutely okay to ask for help.

Allow yourself to take breaks. Give yourself time and space when you need it. Reach out to your support team (friends, family, etc.) when things get hard. Let your loved ones in. If you find that you may need help, PLEASE reach out.
