Either I’ve uncovered proof of #alien life, or there’s a tiny rave going on with #dragonflies or #mayflies. No in-between.

Large mayflies had recently hatched from the Mississippi River down below and occasionally said hi to us as we hiked.

Tonttu decided they might make a good snack!

There are lots of mayfly nymphs in one of our creeks now. Here's one resting its chin on the edge of an underwater leaf and daydreaming.
