I want to clarify something first. I'm not saying that KDE Plasma should be the default desktop environment on FreeBSD nor that it is or it will be the default desktop environment. But, as part of the laptop initiative, the FreeBSD Foundation selected KDE Plasma as the desktop environment...

KleoFUTO are fascists. Also, I would not be surprised if they had a certain proximity with Framework, given the fascists they fund. It's a private company which produces the following pieces of software :
- FUTO Keyboard
- Immich
- GrayJay
- Live Captions
- FUTO Voice
- etc (go see their website if you want the entire list)
And this same company funds a few projects likes Signal, microG and importantly Ladybird. Ladybird is the project of Andreas Kling, a fascist friend of DHH, another fascist with a certain réputation. And this same Andreas Kling has the right to a lot of interviews and other kind of videos on the FUTO YouTube channel. Moreover, he is not the only one, there is also Lunduke, a free software YouTuber who spends his time talking about the fact that Linux is now shit because of a woke plot funded by Red Hat and IBM.
So if you didn't know, now you do, it would be great if you try at most to not use their software like we try to avoid Framework products, those people have no issue funding fascists and defending them.

But if people want to play politics - they support #Fedora (and #bazzite which is built on #Fedora infrastructure) that it funded by #redhat and their head of Linux support Matt Hartley used to appear on podcasts with Brian #Lunduke! They also ship their laptops through China!
It's easy to go down these rabbit holes, but I do believe framework should address this properly
