KDE Plasma as the default desktop environment

I want to clarify something first. I'm not saying that KDE Plasma should be the default desktop environment on FreeBSD nor that it is or it will be the default desktop environment. But, as part of the laptop initiative, the FreeBSD Foundation selected KDE Plasma as the desktop environment...

"Linux Sucks" Sucks. Here's Why

Few things make me want to try an operating system more than #BryanLunduke screaming about how Woke its developers are. #uspol #Lunduke

I just gave up on #BryanLunduke after his latest rant about #pronouns
From once in the time doing his presentation of "Why #Linux Suxx" which were great to now just posting #maga rants, it's just time to stop following him.

Since I'm referencing Lunduke, the obligatory disclaimer;

I don't know Bryan, except by his writing on Open Source. I have strong disagreements with him about politics, dating from his concern trolling about RiseUp.net getting funding for Free Code software projects.

But even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Ist #BryanLunduke jetzt der Alex Jones of #Linux oder was zum Fick ist mit dem los?

I wonder if #TheInternetArchive is not gonna win the case...

I think that #BryanLunduke makes some good points here; https://lunduke.locals.com/post/5556650/the-internet-archives-last-ditch-effort-to-save-itself

I always forget Bryan Lunduke turned out to be such a rightwing hack. I use to watch him on The Linux Action Show back in the day when I was a teenager just learning about Linux then he left the show and followed some of his endeavors but then a lot of his content just went to his own site.
It was a few years ago when I found out he was a full-on #conservative. The dude whined so much even before he made his beliefs more obvious it should've been obvious but oh well.

@groovestomp I do not agree with a lot of what #BryanLunduke has published over the years, even though I consumed a lot of his content when I started using Linux in 2015
In fact he was one reason why my first Linux distro was #OpenSUSE

What seems to have happend at around that time to him and many others at #SUSE is absolutely harrowing
That #antisemitism is still present each and every day, in countries like #Germany and #Austria no less, is fucking saddening
