Here is the final version of my Gladstone Lunch Bag. They were finished a few weeks ago but I did not post them immediately as I wanted my customer to see them first and choose between the two.
I really enjoyed this project. It was fun teaching myself how to use the gladstone hinges. I can see myself using them with other projects.

Here is my gladstone lunch bag prototype. It did not turn out at all as I wished but it was the first time I have worked with this type of bag frame and I learned a lot. I now know what corrections to make. Though it is not what I was aiming for, it's still a decent bag and I may adopt it as my own lunch bag. I love the way pull up leather gives the colour of the bag more depth. Except for the insulated interior lining, this bag could have been made one hundred years ago.
